This place was the best pizza I have ever eaten, hands down, unfortunately they are closed now but when I went there regularly the service was amazing every single time and the owner was nice and easy to talk to. I miss this place.

My Dad use to take me here when I was a kid, whenever he had a jobsite nearby. I live in LA now but I make it a point to stop by and buy a couple pizzas whenever I'm in the area. I definitely would recommend this spot for salads and pizzas!

Puppy sitting for my daughter and son-in-law while they are in Maui. Passed Pizzaiolo on my walk to Encinitas Community Park. It is in a strip center, hidden at the end. I sent a question via YELP and the owner promptly responded. My question, if they had single slice pizza, since I am on my own this week. Stopped in for lunch on 4/30/21 and had the Margherita Pizza, it was good, right amount of char, and perfectly baked. The inside dining area is still closed, but there is a nice outside patio. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem.

After doing a little work in the field I became very hungry... with COVID dining restrictions lifted I considered looking up a place to go dine in at, but didn't feel like spending the time to do it. Pizzaiolo was there so I went with it... They have pretty affordable lunch deals. I went with a cheese slice, salad, and Diet Coke combo for about $8. I stepped up to the ordering window and the whole process from ordering to getting my food was easy. Cheese pizza: it was ok. I wouldn't come back here for another slice as it was a little oily for my taste and the sauce wasn't too my liking. I guess I like my pizza sauce to have a lot more zesty tomato flavor? You won't hate the pizza, but it just didn't send me to the moon and back. Salad: I got the garden salad and was really surprisingly good! Pickled peppers and all the veggies were fresh! The salad was also super big for the price! I got ranch as my dressing and again, the ranch tasted better than most places ranch. So I would totally be back to grab a salad! Nice spot to grab a fast inexpensive lunch. And who knows? Maybe if you'll get another type of pizza you'll love it!

I just tried this "gem" today for the 1st time, Micah was very friendly and eager to help me review the menu It exceeded my expectations and I loved that it's family owned. The spaghetti and meatballs were A+; meatballs were especially good quality and definitely tasted home-made I would definitely try it as you pass on interstate 5

It's a small, very casual pizza joint located in the same center as the Nopalito market and restaurant. Parking is abysmal in this lot (primarily because of the insane drivers) but you can usually find a spot or you can park on the nearby side street. I like any pizza place that offers pizza by the slice and the slices here are thin-crusted but good-sized and plenty tasty. The slices are pre-cooked, just like any pizza by the slice place, and they throw your selected slices in the oven for a few minutes until they came out insanely hot. They're pretty darn greasy but the taste is definitely there. I tried the plain cheese, the pesto and artichoke, and one with sausage and ricotta (I think). They were all solid. $2.00 for cheese slices and $2.75 for slices of everything else. Good flavors and quick, friendly service.
